Teen Mixed Media is designed
for junior high and high school age kids (ages 12 and up). No matter what your skill level is, this
special 8 week workshop will expand your creativity and exploration of art
materials. We will have 4 mixed media, 3-D projects that use different types of
mediums such as plaster, canvas, papers, cardboard, air dry clay, paint and
more. No art experience is required to
attend this class.
Time and Dates

Cost: $96 (supplies are
included)
Project 1: Architecture
Frescoes: We will create 3D relief projects using plaster on
canvas and renaissance architecture as our inspiration and reference.
Project 2: Air Dry Sunflower
Relief Art: We will build our flowers on a cardboard substrate
then paint and stylize them using van Gogh as our inspiration.
Project 3: Newsprint
Pumpkins: We will Use old book papers on canvas for our
background then paint on pumpkins and fall leaves.
Project 4: 3D Letter
Sculptures: Using cardboard, paper cups, paper tape and paint
we will build a letter and then paint them.
